Crossings unisce danzatrici e danzatori di danza contemporanea provenienti da diverse parti del mondo i/le quali traggono ispirazione e saggezza da riti, musiche, movimenti e danze tradizionali. Un insieme di stili, tecniche e narrazioni dove si intrecciano antiche usanze e opere coreografiche contemporanee.
Crossings rappresenta un viaggio che attraversa il tempo e lo spazio, unendo il passato e il presente in una visione condivisa dell’arte della danza.
Nel cuore di Crossings c’è l’idea di attraversamenti, connessioni e innesti, tra danzatori e spettatori, allievi e maestri, amatori e professionisti della danza. Questo festival è un’opportunità di apprendimento e scambio culturale, dove ogni passo, movimento e respiro riflette la bellezza delle differenze e delle somiglianze tra le comunità di tutto il mondo.
Crossings è il luogo in cui la danza diventa un ponte tra culture, un festival dove si celebra la ricchezza della diversità, permettendo a tutte e tutti di attraversare confini e sperimentare mondi.

Crossings – Festival of Transcultural Dance brings together contemporary dancers from around the world who draw inspiration and wisdom from ritual, music, movement and traditional dance. Ancient customs intertwine with contemporary choreographic works in a continuous evolution of styles, techniques and narratives.
Crossings represents a journey through time and space, uniting the past and present in a shared vision of the art of dance.
At the heart of Crossings is the idea of mixing. Creating connections between dancers and audiences, students and teachers, amateurs and professionals. This festival is an opportunity for learning and cultural exchange, where every step, movement and breath reflects the beauty of the differences and similarities between communities around the world.
Crossings is where dance becomes a bridge between cultures, a festival that celebrates the richness of diversity and enables everyone to cross boundaries and experience different worlds.
